Your favourite Italian streetwear killer just teamed up with your favourite profane rapper to launch a jungle-inspired sportswear and streetwear collection. Yesterday, Tyga and Marcelo Burlon made their way to Saks Fifth Avenue for a personal appearance to celebrate the launch of their latest collaboration. Thanks to Tyga’s Instagrams, Tweets, and live Snapchats from his T-Raww account, Saks was filled to the brim with die hard fans of the Compton rapper. One of Tyga’s first apparel collaborations, the Marcelo Burlon x Tyga capsule features only five pieces, consisting of sweatshirts, t-shirts, and shorts. When asked what excited him about the collab, Tyga mentioned that his “favourite piece is the hoodie,” and that the opportunity to have a personal appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue was “really dope.” Tyga joined Marcelo Burlon to sign autographs for fans, and to ink his autograph onto a few limited edition tees.
Tyga said that his collab with Marcelo Burlon was the beginning of something special for him in the fashion world, and that he plans to eventually launch a solo collection.
