Dover Street Market New York just announced the launch of adidas Originals x Palace's summer collection today. Palace Skateboards and adidas Originals' SS16 drop has been much-anticipated and widely rumoured over the past few weeks, and DSM New York was the first to announce a launch today.
With notorious British skater boy Blondey McCoy as the frontman of their campaign, they're sticking to their classic English sportswear look with their latest collaboration. The collection will see a revival of their tracksuits and athletic gear, as well as new additions - swim trunks. Palace and adidas Originals have progressed to a simple and mature aesthetic that's highlighted by the attention paid to fabrics and materials. The footwear also seems to be a revival of their past work, heavily reflecting the first collaboration between the two brands. It has been confirmed that the Palace Pro and the Palace Pro Primeknit trainers will be a part of the drop.
