Kasina’s adidas Originals Superstar 80s have been referred to by HYPEBEAST and HighSnobiety as a nod to the YEEZY Boost 350. With no shortage of exclusive adidas Originals Superstar renditions dropping over the past few months, the Korean sneaker store, Kasina’s, rendition, is certainly unique. Rather than taking a colourful approach to the iconic Superstar silhouette, Kasina chose to go with a sleek, off-white, suede rendition. The kicks echo minimalist aesthetics through and through. They feature a completely suede upper, with black suede accents on the heel cap and tongue, for contrast. But it’s the splashes of red, moreover, and the black stitching, that echoes a YEEZY. The red is present on the bolts and eyelets of the trainer, and the brand stitching is done in black, much like Kanye’s first model of the adidas YEEZY Boost 350.
We can predict that any YEEZY lover will easily fall in love with Kasina’s rendition of the classic adidas Originals Superstar.
The adidas Originals x Kasina Superstars will be available as of August 20th, exclusively at select adidas retailers worldwide, including J-01 in Hong Kong.
