Okay, so, for the past few days, Marcelo Burlon’s been spamming his own official Facebook page with overly long live video streams of him shooting his first women’s collection for SS17 at Passepartout4u LTD in Milan. Now we see what the fuss is all about.
Of course, it’s a big step for Marcelo, who’s been rising in the world of menswear for the past few seasons. Foraying into womenswear is never easy for a menswear designer, but after revealing his collection at Milan Fashion Week, Burlon’s proven himself as a versatile designer who can cater to both worlds. HighSnobiety called it “one for the fashion goths,” but we think that it’s pretty widely wearable. The collection ranges from leather pieces, to bomber jackets, to tees, to denim, and everything in between.
