Presented by Fresh Off The Boat Asia and Yeti Out, Sporting Life (Eric Adiele) of NYC rap/hip-hop outfit Ratking touched down in Hong Kong for a merch pop-up store at J-01 Gallery.
The pop-up exhibited artwork from Takehiko Inoue’s popular manga series 'Slam Dunk' which inspired the new York producer's 3-part EP of the same name. The EP features Sport’s friends and contemporaries including Actress, Blood Orange Dev Hynes, WIKI, Novelists, Evy Jane and Galcher Lustwerk, who coincidentally provide a fitting context as a prism within which to contextualize Adiele’s fertile day-glo fantasies. Sporting Life got the frequencies going throughout the night while heavy visuals worked the gallery space - take a look at what went down in photos!
