West NYC and Saucony have recently been on a fishing-themed tip. The “great outdoors” has served as a backdrop for their collaborations for the past few editions now. Continuing with this trend, they released the Saucony x West NYC Shadow 6000 “Fresh Water,” featuring a much-anticipated nature-inspired colourway that fans of the labels have been waiting on for months.
The trainer itself is inspired by Fresh Water (hence the name), with the colourway hinting at an earthy feel. The Upper West Side retailer cites their inspiration as the aesthetic of the ultimate hiking / fishing trip. The brown suede build with hints of underlying black grounds the shoe and its hints of teal woven into the upper. White panels featured on the sole and the upper directly contrast the darker hues that would have otherwise overshadowed the shoe.
The Saucony x West NYC Shadow 6000 is already available at West’s retail outlets, and at J-01 in Hong Kong.
