adidas Originals’ latest take on the iconic Stan Smith is the 999 – in a white colourway with 24k gold detailing. The kicks feature the usual adidas Originals Stan Smith branding on the tongue patch and heel collar – but this time, in gold patent leather. The upper of the shoe is made up of premium leather in an off-white colourway, with the classic white rubber midsole. Of course, the perforated holes on each side represent adidas’ infamous 3-stripes. Time after time, adidas continues to re-invent and re-vamp their iconic sneakers, keeping things interesting, and keeping themselves in the sneaker spotlight. This is one of adidas’ main assets – each enticing new style and edition they introduce proves their promise as a leading streetwear sneaker label.
